Rosemary and Ian’s Wedding at Rhoneymeade Botanical Gardens in State College, PA | Sneak Peek

This fall we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Rosemary and Ian’s special day at one of our favorite Central PA wedding venues—Rhoneymeade!

(Throwback our last visit to Rhoneymeade when we got to celebrate Lia and Cecil’s big day!)

The vibes were immaculate on this sunny fall day, and all of Rosemary and Ian’s loved ones showed up with so much love and intention. The day started in the art studio where we got some beautiful shots of everyone getting ready with the window art in the background. Then, we got to sneak off to a tiny private pond where they shared their private vows. It was such a special way for these two to have a moment alone before the rest of their guests arrived.

When it was time for the main event, all the guests gathered in the field for Rosemary and Ian’s pagan ceremony (a first for us!). The ceremony might have been new to us, but many of the same wedding themes shone through—a commitment to love and respect each other in this lifetime with a underlying respect for nature, the giver of all life (a message I can get behind).

It was so cool to see some of the traditions woven into this ceremony like hand-fasting (a unity ritual where ropes bind the couple’s hands together) and sharing a drink from the same vessel. Anyone could see how much intention the couple put behind their ceremony.

After some family shots and another quick walk through the gardens, we moved the party to one of our favorite local restaurants, Titan Hollow. Guests got to mingle and play card games in a private room, then we got to enjoy an absolutely delicious dinner.

The whole day was packed with so much intention, personality, and magic, and I have no doubt that Rosemary and Ian will keep the magic coming in their marriage and beyond. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
